Sauna Heater Wiring & Cable Routing Guide
Demonstrates wiring connections, floor penetration for heat-resistant SO cable, and heat deflector shield positioning for a sauna heater.
Measurements stated
- 3 electrical supply lines
Key facts
- Heat-resistant SO cable is routed through a drilled floor hole along the baseboard.
- The heater electrical connection box uses terminal blocks with insulated wiring.
- A heat deflector plate must be assembled in order before final heater mounting.
Questions this answers
- How is electrical cable routed through a sauna floor for a heater?
- What type of cable is used for sauna heater internal electrical wiring?
- Where is the heat deflector plate installed on an electric sauna stove?
Transcript
We have the three lines coming through this I believe it's called an SO line. I don't know it just is an insulator. That's heat resistant and it goes down. We drilled a hole that's slightly larger, and the baseboard runs right next to this, so we can basically turn this line and run it right along the base, so it'll be pretty much invisible. And then we'll hook up the back. And we have this and you have to make sure that you put together these in the correct order. The heat deflector, the heat shield over there has to come on here at just the right time.
